Surviving my first cleanse

I made it!! Cleansing isn't that tough after all!  Although, it probably would have been even easier for me had I followed the instructions properly.   Apparently I was supposed to be drinking 4oz of the deep cleanse drink 4 x yesterday. I was only drinking 2oz.   I figured this out only at the end of the day yesterday. Whoops.

So how was yesterday and how am I feeling today?  Yesterday was my first day back at work after the Christmas holidays so I was busy. I barely thought about the cleanse until I had to actually eat something.  I got my water in by keeping two 1.5 liter bottles on my desk and challenging myself to drink them by end of day.

I didn't really feel hungry all day until I went for a walk with a friend at lunch and she grabbed pad thai take-out on her way back.  I don't know if it was hunger pains I was feeling, or just plain jealousy over her noodles, but it passed quickly.

Driving home last night at about 430pm I felt my first real tired feelings of the day. I knew I had a busy night ahead with the boys and wanted to do some exercise so I did grab one of the replenish drinks.

I ended up do a light walk/run on the treadmill last night as well.  I was feeling pretty full of energy come 530 so I decided to take advantage it and get my fit bit steps in.   Not bad for a cleanse day.

So my one complaint right now is that I am not sleeping super well. I don't know if this is because of my cleanse, because I exercised at night last night, or because I am worried about work. I slept pretty soundly from 9pm-2am but not great or at all after that. I was a bit hungry in the middle of the night but instead of going downstairs to grab a snack, I googled Isagenix success stories to get me past it. That worked!! Holy cow there are some amazing stories out there!

This morning I woke up tired, but I perked up with the cleanse for life and accelerator capsules from this morning.   BONUS - my jeans feel less tight today!!

I am going to try and work on an inspiration board in the next coming days. I read about people who did this on their own weight loss journey and it was really motivating!

I also am going to take some better before pictures. I am going to get Peter to take a picture of me tonight in the outfit I am wearing and try the same outfit on in a month from now to compare the difference.

Here's to surviving my second day of cleansing!
